| Enjoy the pics below from the last Sunday morning's flying @ Tanah Jambu.... Featuring Jerry's 100cc Gasoline 1/3 Pipercub Clipped Wing... 100" Wingspan....  First wing section out....  Maj Irwan taking a pose with the wing...  Hj Zaini taking out the fuse.  Fuselage took the entire length of the vehicle it was transported in. | |

|  Now thats one big prop 28x10!!!  Pat and Hj Zaini piecing up the aircraft  Owner Jerry overseeing the assembly  Part of the fun is being the spectator.... wathcing this beast built up  One of the cylinders of two of the DL100 Gasoline engine.... Horizontal boxer layout.  This should be plenty strong to hold down the gigantic prop | |

|  It was indeed a very hot and sunny day!!  It was prolly approx 1100hrs when this was pieced up  Very excited owner....!!  Cute?! Hardly....this is a beast!!  Final bits to setup.... macam mechanic keta ja... mau ada trolly bed!  Last parting shot.... compared to a typical 50 size airplane Stay tuned for flight videos etc....  | |

| As promised here comes the pics from the successful maiden this morning.... onboard video cam footage will be posted in the net once edited properly..... Enjoy the pics below...  The same crew again setting up the piper... notice their matching hardhats too... Team Piper Cub  Receiver AR9100 with 4 remote receivers for 8 redundant antenna's. Receiver also dual power bus.  Dual Li-po power and regulated inclusive of ignition battery pack. Dual redundant power to feed those power hungry hitec 7955TG's for 20kg's worth of torque!  Final bits to screw down  Poser pics with owner. This time... 1/3 scale piper...meet owen's 0.15 powered piper....  Landscape view.... papa and baby piper... both from The World Models  More pics...i can't help myself... hehehehe | |

|  More pics this time against backdrop of Tanah Jambu hut  Practically windless day with mild cross wind once in a while.. .great for maiden flight!!  Getting ready for the runway taxi test.  Taxing along the runway with the wind prepping to turn into the wind  Facing into headwind ready for full throttle...  We've got rotation... tail wheel is lifting off the ground... Main wheels light  And we've got lift off.....  A steep climb angle of rotation | |

|  Away she goes into the sky...  She pulls away out of the range of my focal length of a mere 55mm  Approach for landing  Almost touchdown...  Touchdown on mother earth...safe n sound... Congrats Jerry on a safe and successful maiden. Now we're waiting for that Giant Katana to make its debut. | |
