Hi Dider,
I am a casual RC flyer, mostly foamies doing basic 3D and also fly the AXN clouds (Similar to yours) and recorded a few videos from a key chain camera. I am now interested in FPV and need help. Have gone around in RC groups and quite confused and would appreciate your help and guidance.
For my First FPV,
Aircraft - I am planning to us the Clouds Floater
Radio - Futaba 7CAP (40.79 Mhz)
Now the confusing parts: (Planning to purchase)
FPV TX-
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=13436Included in this setup will be
1 x SONY CCD 1/3inch Camera
1 x 900Mhz 8 channel Video Transmitter (1500mW)
1 x 900Mhz 12 channel Video Receiver
NOT SURE ABOUT THE OUTPUT? is it an overkill??? allowed?
Is the Camera any good or need another ?
Can I use the supplied rubber antenna ?
Is 900MHZ okay, I am using 40.79 for RC
Not sure about the TX, mentions 18gms but that gold TX looks big??
Your Expert views?
For OSD looking at
Feiyu Tech AP117 OSD (With GPS)
http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/uh_viewItem.asp?idProduct=17498Will it be plug&play this with the TX or will require adapters etc.
I plan to stream the video to my Camcorder or PC and not use goggles this should be simple by taking the video output and streaming it to the camcorder. Is that correct or am I missing something
Anything else I am missing, how do you suggest I power the TX and RX?
Thanks in advance for your help... I am in Brunei and would love to hook up and see you fly and enjoy the experience of FPV
Regards, Tahir
