BRCAC Formalisation

Dear fellow RC friends,

Well done on the setup of this forum. It is hoped that we can achieve the same status as our neighbouring friends e.g. Singapore / Malaysia. Some websites to share for inspiration:

We are working to formalise BRCAC and currently past two hurdles. The next step will be the registration of the club with Perlembagaan.

Our current progress is in the documentation preparation which will be submitted for the club's existence.

Insyallah, hopefully if all goes well, we would be able to submit it sometime mid January. Afterall this is a part time activity, given our fulltime job commitments.

Fellow RC'ers...

An update from this weeks engagement with the authorities. We have approached the Registrar and apparently one of the requirements for club naming is not to put 'Brunei' on the front text... We were told that it will have to be either middle or end text, so this was the only logical way:

R.C.A.B = Radio Control Aeromodellers of Brunei

which wouldn't change too much of the original club name.

We will be filling in the forms and also finalizing the club constitution and hopefully sometime next month we should have a working copy for submission

There will also be a once off club registration fee of B$200 to be paid to the registrar, so we (club committee) will pay on behalf first until formalization takes place then we will collect membership fees for reimbursement.
