WE ARE MOVE TO NEW RC FLYING FIELD NEARBY FROM THE OLD KATOK FLYING FIELD, FROM ROUND ABOUT DRIVE STRAITH THROUGH THE SMALL GATE THEN TURN LEFT TO THE PLACE MANY WORKER MAKE CEMENT FOR DRAINAGE THEN TURN LEFT FOLLOW THE CAR TRACK TO THE " NEW KATOK RC FLYING FIELD "

Seen the location....there is some work needed and landing strip is more than to be desired.

Wind direction in morning and afternoon is along the length of the field which is perfect.

40size airplanes can work but landings will be tricky to keep in line due to the narrow relatively smooth strip.

There are natural drain channels due to flow of water which makes the terrain very difficult to work.

Very suitable for electric aircrafts and helicopters...flying zone is away from main roads and populated areas

Lets see how this stands up...... the other tanah jambu location is probably bigger is size....

HOw bad is the road... i tend to use my subaru to go to the field... u think i can go the flying site with no problem?? Is it that the tar mac that we use to fly?? will pop in somethime Nx week as this week im BZ...

we used to fly sunday morning from 7 am to 12 pm, about 4-5 car , me pad, bryan, dj , jojo, ah wee, christopher sometimes, owen sometimes.

so this sunday 7 am meet at roundabout at kg katok B , location is beside tarmac we sue to fly last time , my sedan car honda civic can drive to the
field no problem, only now the entrance quite muddy abit but my civic can pass through.

Suggest u dont bring the scooby to the field...there are some deep gouges and protrusions... even my swift struggles to get in at times, possible but with some manouvering.... or undercarriage scratching....

I just arrived in brunei 2 weeks ago. Last Sunday I went down to Kg. Katok to check out the field but didn't see anyone flying. Are you all still flying there regularly on Sundays? If so I would like to come by tomorrow and join you guys.

I went to the field on 19th around 10:30 AM but no one was there. Can the regulars advise if the field is still being used. I plan to go there this weekend (26th) around 8:30 am and would like to meetup with others...

I will go to to the katok B around 7 am, the field is after big round about at kg katok B drive straith through the road that have gate block but now no more block, if cannot find the location just sms or call me padsakorn 8955728 we fly every sunday morning from 7am to 12 pm, see you tomorrow
