Assalamu'alaikum dan Selamat Sejahtera dari Miri,

I stumble on this site from azrc. I hope you guys don't mind I joined in and invited myself.

A bit about me, my hometown is Penang (that is why AnakMami) but working in Miri. Married with 4 children (sorry ladies you're too late ).

Anyway I've been interested in aviation since my father introduced me to a rubber powered balsa glider when I was 10 years old. On and off here and there but always involve in aviation. Started seriously to fly RC in 1997 until now.

I fly fixed wing and helis alternately, seldom together, meaning to say when I fly helis it will be as if I have never flown fixed wing before and when I fly fixed wing it's like I never have helis before .

That's about it....if anyone of you wants to fly here in Miri just give me a shout. We fly Sat & Sun morning at Lutong airstrip. BTW my good friend from Brunei goes by the name of Junaidi, he use to fly RC now flying Paramotor.

Welcome to the forum and we appreciate the few lines you've posted about yourself. Its great to know that we have flying buddies in the neighboring states. Will let you know if there are any plans. However, should you be over here in Brunei, drop us a note. Sunday's are generally more happening, but the guys also fly occasionally on a daily basis!

Warmest welcome! We in Brunei very glad to invite you to fly either at Seria or BSB. I stayed at Seria. Email me anytime, we will check the date to fly at Seria area. If you wanted to fly at bandar, you can contact Owen or Axenz. I,m sure they will guide you to the flying field.

Guys thank you for the welcoming. Will sure to let you know when I'm in Brunei (sadly very seldom), but there are expats from Brunei that flies frequently here in Miri. They are into scale flying with all those big warbirds.

Do you guys have many RC'er in Brunei? In Miri we about 15 or so active flyers that will show up on Sundays, although on record there were 40 members. Most were just passing thru .
