Your last question seem to be very interesting...i have a very good dustbin which take alot of thrown item, so if you happen to throw it in the Dustbin...please let me know my fren.

hehehehehe....just kidding...No i have no experience with that servo, but seems like it is a good servo with metal gears all around.

my futaba S9402 work on 8 Kg/cm on 6v....this is enough make me feel like going fast..so if your servo are similar to that of S9402, with regard to Torque and speed, then keep it for rainy day.

Yesterday I installed it in my Caliber 30 as pitch servo. Respond so far so good, very fast, good torque even can lift the caliber by hanging by the swash plate compared to my sanwa metal gear but it overshoots. I tried some quick climb-outs and quick decends but I don't see any differences in pitch! Hover was fine as well.

I will do FFF this sunday.

I remember a time in Singapore, when Singahobby were trying to sell a korean made 6.0kg/0.18s digital standard size servo for $40, and plenty Singaporeans were skeptical to use them on their heli's. In order to convince people its performance/ holding ability/ reliability, they built a test rig to hang off a weight i.e. load the servo to lift a 4.0kg load continuously for days on end! and stroke it fully every time they had time to do so. Now it's their best seller. I also use them on my precision aero airplanes! Imagine the cost saving between a Fut S9252 and a $40 korean servo!

If i recall correctly, ppl also had skepticism for Hitec servo's back in those days... but now its commonplace application.

The only real way to prove a servo's ability/ reliability is to test it and it takes someone to take on that risk either in real life application or simulation.
