This is a new concept of Hitec digital servo programmer working with PC interface. It has all the features that HFP-20 has except the measurement (RX battery voltage measurement, RX Pulse measurement) function, and needs the PC connection to utilize the PC program.

Why PC interface?
Nowadays, everybody has their own computer and can easily access the internet. We thought it would be great if users can upgrade their servo programmer’s firmware anytime without time & cost consumption.
The PC program for HPP-21 can be downloaded from Hitec website at anytime. Once the user installs the PC program for HPP-21, his computer will detect any upgraded firmware automatically once the computer is connected to the internet. Moreover, the user may perform the servo programming more conveniently & more precisely with the attractively-designed PC program.

Features
All features are programmable only with Hitec digital servos, but this programmer will also allow users to easily check servos’ performance of other brands by using its test function. It can also set most of the programmable parameters of all HITEC digital servo types, and users can save them in their PC. Please refer to the following functions which can be programmed.
- FAIL SAFE, On or Off
- Direction of Rotation
- Resolution Setup (G2 HITEC Servos Only)
- Travel Speed
- Center, End, and FAIL SAFE Point
- Dead Band Width
- OLP Rate (Overload Protection Rate, G2 HITEC Servos Only)
- “Save and Open” File Options
- Reset Servo to Factory Default Program

** No battery, No USB cable included. User may use his own battery(4cell) and USB cable (XDA II Mini) which is included in most electronic appliances.

** “HPP-21 PLUS” will be released later (early next year). The difference between HPP-21 and HPP-21 PLUS is that with HPP-21 PLUS the user is able to program the servo even without PC connection by simply adjusting buttons and looking at LED lights when the user needs to program the servo in the field. However, as there is no LCD display on the product, it will be more convenient for the user to use their PC to program their servos. The price of HPP-21 PLUS will naturally be higher than HPP-21. All necessary information will be announced later.
