I am Atan_126, to answer your question, there are two places you can go...One is at Tanah Jambu....to tell you the truth , i myself have never been there...and the other one is in Seria G29 area. so if you happen to come to Brunei you can call me @ 8177095 / 8767095. I will show you the way...

Or you can always refer to Owen's recent Forum to lead you the way to Tanah Jambu...

You are welcome to fly with us in Brunei. But one more thing, I think it is difficult to bring in your radio systems through... For more information, you may send PM to Owen, I think he knew well of importing such items. BTW, as mentioned by Atan, you may fly with us in Kuala Belait or at Tanah Jambu area. I had visited and survey Tanah Jambu area, yes it is a big flying site for nitro/gas/turbine airplanes or helis.

I shall not echo what has already been mentioned by Atan and AZRC... however i have some inquiries about yourself...

Are you going to be an expat working in Brunei? or just for a social visit?

If you are an expat, then do take note about the regulations w.r.t importation of radio equipment and licensing. If you are bringing it with you as accompanied luggage though the airport, then if you are not lucky and get inspected by customs, then it may be confiscated. This also applies to Aircrafts with powerplant i.e. Engines/motors/ etc. Only bare aircrafts i.e. unassembled kits/ARFs can be imported without a license. The best route would be to bring via your trunk which is seafreighted.

We (RCAB) are working our best to ensure proper legislation in place so that these restrictions can be managed and controlled.
