T-Rex 250:

If you use a DX-7 Transmitter and your gyro sensitivity (gain) is

configured to use the gear channel via end points (ATV’s), you should

set this value initially at 25; this is a good starting point, but it

will need to be adjusted. Small helicopters, such as the T-Rex 250 are

too “picky” with the gyro settings based on the specific setup, tail

resistance, tail blades used, etc. Simply start at 25 and fine tune

from there. Also, your ATV for the rudder ...

Morgan Fuels has been a leading manufacturer of R/C performance fuels for decades. Their blends and oils are extremely consistant batch to batch, year to year. When traveling the world to events I rarely have to change needle settings on my engines or ever worry about the quality of Cool Power fuels no matter where I'm flying.

I use exclusively Cool Power 30% High Performance Heli in all engines.

For a smooth running F3C mix I recommend a mix of Cool Power heli fuels.

I came up with my own definition of 3D that I'll submit here for your consideration.

I believe 3D is any maneuver that to be performed requires the constant harmonized input of three or more controls simultaneously while the maneuver is taking place.

Using this I divided the maneuvers in two categories:

1) Quasi-static controls maneuvers:

Under the previous definition a loop, a roll and a 360 pirouette are not 3D. Those maneuvers are performed by simply leaving one control in ...

To prevent your ESC from generating excessive heat, it is recommended to run throttle over 80% continues and target speed at approximately 90% to give you 10% of variation.

To select a suitable pinion gear you need to have the following information handy:

HS - Target Headspeed

KV - Motor KV value - rpm per volt

MG - Main gear teeth count

C - number of cells to run

Let's start......

a) set zero degree pitch (make sure the rotor would not spin by use of throttle hold switch or unplug the motor)

Get your eyes checked. If you’re having trouble seeing the aircraft through maneuvers or just flying around you my just need some specks. If you wear glasses wear them.

Fly no closer than 15 feet from yourself and perform no tricks closer than 30 feet.

Never come screaming in at yourself and pulling up (or down), anything can happen and has. Someone overseas had their eyes and nose removed by the rotor disk when their helicopter ...

But now they have solution for it by adding Capacitor 4700uF 10V to extra channel. The purpose is to stabilize voltage inside receiver.
