Idea I read some articles how to dieselise nitro engine without any modifications to the review engine Exclamation Exclamation Exclamation Question Surprised . No glow plug needed but a copper was used as a catalyst and burn the fuel. The compression was increased slightly higher than normal nitro opearation. The fuel used was a mixture of ether, kerosene and oil. The article says the use of bigger displacement, at least .20 size engine. Wink

I think pirat I want to do some experiments pirat pirat Idea of how to dieselise my new Super Tigre GS-40 or my ASP 61 engine!!!...

Guys,

Now I still study obout the fuel; which as mentioned, a mixture of kerosene (40%), ether (30%) and oil (20-30%). Kerosene is very easy to get. Ether can be found in some pharmarcies, like GUARDIAN (I think so or may be) About the lubrication oil, normal cooking oil like peanut oil or kelapa sawit oil also can be used, but the best is castor or synthetic or both mixtures. At this moment, I still study the fuel mixture. scratch
The only thing is this fuel is very dirty for models especially the exhaust, very black stuff.... Mad
